Patagonia built the Nano Puff® Jacket for climbers who needed a weather-resistant, lightweight, and packable synthetic insulation layer that could stay warm even when wet. Ever since, those same features have made it the uncontested favorite midlayer for any outdoor pursuit.

This iteration features improved shoulder fit and elbow articulation for better mobility, 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco made from 100% postconsumer recycled polyester with P.U.R.E.™ technology, and a 100% recycled polyester shell and lining. The signature horizontal quilting pattern stabilizes insulation for durability as an outer layer or low-profile under shells.

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light moisture without intentionally added PFAS. Two zippered handwarmer pockets and an internal zippered chest pocket that doubles as a stuffsack keep essentials close. A drawcord-adjustable drop-tail hem seals in warmth, while the center-front zipper features a wicking storm flap and chin garage for comfort.
